Worship Begins @ 9:30 am

This is a creative traditional service of worship that takes place in our gorgeous sanctuary. We use a lot of music, which is a mix of traditional, gospel, ethnic and more contemporary styles. Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month. A special time of Fellowship in our church Parlor is offered after the service.

We all have habits that get the best of us. Rohr says that, “Substance addictions like alcohol and drugs are merely the most visible form of addiction, but actually we are all addicted to our own habitual way of doing anything, our own defenses, and most especially, our patterned way of thinking, or how we process our reality.” The common work of recovery and the church is about being honest that some part of us needs redeeming and healing. The basic pattern to this work is that we “…suffer to get well, we surrender to win, we die to live, and we give it away to keep it.”

Sermons and worship during these weeks will focus on discovering how the message of the Gospels and the wisdom of recovery can shine a path towards healing and redemption. You may find it helpful to read this book during the weeks of Epiphany. You may want to read the book by yourself, with a friend, or in a small group. We will also have guiding questions in the bulletin each week.
